Excellent set turned in by this Austin Rocker! Vocals are that of a tortured soul drowned in whiskey. Songs are dark, yet spiritual--real stories about real people and experiences in his life. Unlike his stage persona, he comes across as a mild-mannered, friendly, self-effacing guy with a wry sense of humor.
New CD ("Exodus of the Deemed Unrighteous") just released on Tuesday is worth buying, if he's not coming to your town any time soon. My friends in Central PA will be able to catch him at an upcoming blues fest in Lancaster. Stay tuned...
